Lord Narasimha appears in a vision

During one of the yoga nidra sessions, i clearly saw Lord Narasimha appear and bless me. He was as tall as a human but bigger and huge like 6-7 feet tall. Unlike us, he was sheathed in gold rays, with a body seemingly made of gold hue and radiating gold light all around. Surprisingly, his face and hands and legs were like ours except the Lion appearance. This appearance repeated itself for three consecutive days and at the end of it i felt the urge to get his idol and start doing daily pooja to Lord Narasimha. I went to Mylapore, Chennai and found a beautiful idol of Shri Narasimha and goddess Mahalakshmi and initiated daily pooja to him and his consort. What connection i have with Shri Narasimha i know not, but my association with him started when i was just ten years old. I used to be afraid of many things to include people, ghosts, snakes, diseases that the fear would stop me from doing many activities. Then my grandmother, a great Radhakrishna Swamiji devotee, took me to Nanganallur Lakshmi Narasimiha Swami temple. The temple incidentally houses an ancient vigraha of the Lord , whose location was revealed to devotees in a dream. When they dug the place indicated in the dream, this ancient Lakshmi Narasimha statue was found and it was consecrated again and a big temple was built there. When i visited the temple, the temple priest sprinkled holy water offered to Shri Narasimha on my face thrice and said henceforth all my fears would disappear. I mentally connected with the Lord and read his stories, watched the prahlada charitam many many times and got firmly established in his devotion.I also learnt the Narasimha Mantram- ' Ugram Veeram' and made it part of my daily chanting routine. Later after many years, most of my fears vanished, except for one or two that remain and with that came the freedom to do many many activities like travelling at night, travelling alone and staying alone became possible. In between, i had forgotten Narasimha for a while and got more attached to his Rama avatara and Krishna avatara. The visits of the Lord during Yoga Nidra, drew me again to his fold and reminded me to offer him milk and daily along with butter. He clearly instructed me in Sanskrit to offer Ksheeram and Navaneetham. Such is the grace of Lord Narasimha.I write these blogs more so that i don't forget these divine experiences. At times i think it is all my mind's active imagination, but always take it as the Lord's direct command. Radhkrishna Swamiji visited a Narasimha temple once and told his devotees that the Lord's Sudarshana Chakra is protecting that place and he was able to see it, while ordinary people could not. I need to do some research and find out more about this temple Swamiji visited.Will update soon.
